Coaches will work with students to improve their confidence as well as expressiveness through a detailed curriculum catered to each student's needs.

Introduction to Public Forum*Recommended for 6th-8th Graders*
Summer Program: Contact Us for Time Slot Students will learn the fundamentals of the Public Forum debate format with the help of Ethos Prep PF division instructors. Coaches will teach students the format rules, maximization of research techniques, and rapid logical deduction. Students will learn to work with partners and establish proper cooperation with their peers through class preparation. Focusing on current events, from the agricultural sector of the United States to Middle Eastern foreign policy, students will always be able to expand their political and economic knowledge of real world events taking place worldwide. At the end of the session we will host a small tournament where students may utilize the skills they have learned over the session.

Introduction to Lincoln Douglas*Recommended for 6th-8th Graders*
Summer Program: Contact Us for Time Slot Students will learn the fundamentals of the Lincoln Douglas debate format with the help of Ethos Prep LD division instructors. Coaches will teach students the format rules, maximization of research techniques, and rapid logical deduction. With an emphasis on individuality and philosophy, this debate format ensures that students are always challenging schools of thought and societal norms we see in society today, whether it be a cynical view of the US policing system or a utilitarian approach towards climate change. At the end of the session we will host a small tournament where students may utilize the skills they have learned over the session.
